Shipping and Returns

• International Orders – Customs, Duties and Taxes

  If you are ordering goods for delivery outside of the UK, please note that your consignment may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once the goods reach the country of destination. Any such charges levied in relation to customs clearance must be paid by you. It is accepted by you that the shipper has no control over additional charges in relation to customs clearance. We recommend that you check with your local customs officials or post office for more information regarding importation taxes/duties that may be applicable to your online order. You will be the importer of record and may be responsible for any import VAT and duty that needs to be paid. We are now registered and collect VAT for sales to EU countries. In addition, any charges for import clearance will be paid by you, the customer.

• Shipping options

  We offer a choice of Standard Delivery and Express Delivery to most destinations. In the UK, for example, we ship via Royal Mail tracked Standard Delivery (2-5 days) and DPD tracked Express Delivery (1-2 days). The cost of shipping for a single book is £5.95 (Standard) or £9.95 (Express). Make your shipping choice at checkout, where the cost will be clearly displayed.

• How we calculate shipping costs

  Shipping costs are calculated automatically according to where you live and the weight of the package. Ordering more than one book won’t necessarily incur a higher shipping cost, which means you can often save money by ordering one, two, three or even four books at once, depending on the size of the books themselves. For orders of five books or more, you may find it cheaper to place two smaller orders. You can determine this at checkout simply by changing the order quantity until you get the best-value shipping cost.

  For trade purchases of 11 books or more, please contact us directly to discuss your requirements.

• Shipping destinations

  At present we ship to the UK, the European Union, the USA and Canada, and selected countries throughout the Rest of the World. If you live somewhere we don’t ship to, you will be unable to check out – in which case please contact us directly and we will endeavour to find the most economical way to fulfil your order. We keep the countries we ship to under constant review.

• Refunds & Returns

  We hope you will be happy with your purchase. In the unlikely event that your book(s) arrive damaged or in otherwise poor condition, please contact us immediately and we will endeavour to rectify the situation.

  You may cancel an order up until the goods are shipped. You also have the right to return a book(s) within 30 days of receipt for a full refund providing the book itself is in perfect condition and is returned in its original packaging. Any refund will be to the original source of payment after receipt of the returned goods. We regret that shipping costs cannot be refunded unless the goods are faulty. Returns should be sent to:
