Dear Amanda
I have just purchased the print copy and thought I’d drop you a quick line to congratulate you on a really excellent and beautifully produced book. I am really pleased with my decision to buy it.
I have lots of wine books including many written by some of the most well known writers. Whilst most are enjoyable, many suffer from being a bit “stuffy” and pretentious – something which your book is completely free from. The prose is interesting and engaging and there are some lovely photographs.
I am developing a particular interest in wines from Argentina and Chile in particular and the book is a further step in directing me to a wider look at both countries. I have also enjoyed wine from Uruguay and have tasted a few wines from both Bolivia and Brazil (via Decanter events) and I am interested to learn more about these countries’ products too.
Congratulations on writing and producing such a superb and very enjoyable book. Best wishes for great success to match the critical acclaim.
