Andrea Lonardi MW is a viticulturist, winemaker, and business strategist. After studying Agricultural Sciences and Agri-Business in Bologna and Montpellier, he worked in Languedoc, Washington State, and California. He later held senior roles at Gruppo Italiano Vini, overseeing viticulture across thirteen estates and planting over 700 hectares nationwide. He served more than a decade as COO of Angelini Wines & Estates, revitalizing historic brands including Bertani and Val di Suga. In 2023, he became the second Italian Master of Wine. He now advises leading family-owned estates, shaping strategy from vineyard to market.

Jessica Dupuy is a Texas-based writer covering wine, spirits, food, and travel, with work in Decanter, Forbes, Food & Wine, and Wine Enthusiast. She holds certifications including Certified Sommelier, WSET Diploma, and Certified Specialist of Wine and Spirits, and is a Master of Wine candidate. She has authored six cookbooks, including Uchi: The Cookbook and Tex-Mex, and her latest book, The Wines of Southwest U.S.A., explores emerging American regions. A graduate of Trinity University and Northwestern’s Medill School, she is also co-host of Another Bottle Down and editor of the Direct to Press Substack.
