‘Wyand has spent two years documenting the Côte Chalonnaise in the most breathtaking detail – raw, elemental, visceral, haunting, reassuring…Like a poet, he’s turned the mundane into brilliant beauty …’
Tamlyn Currin, JancisRobinson.com

4 Seasons in Côte Chalonnaise conveys an intimate and inclusive sense of the region and the connection between its people and the land.’
Anthony Rose, The World of Fine Wine

’Wyand’s photos bring the region to life…’
Wine Spectator

‘…there’s a whole lot of joy in these pages, it’s rather infectious.’
Amanda Barnes, The Circle of Wine Writers

‘It is true that geological, geographical and meteorological factors define and set the Côte Chalonnaise apart. But the region’s key asset is the quality of women and men dedicated to the vines. A real “Côte Chalonnaise spirit” exists: winemakers have faith in the potential of their Climats, which justifies the incredible efforts made over the last twenty years to produce fine wines and the pride that results from this. Jon’s talent perfectly captured this “spirit” in faces, landscapes and even through pure moments of silence which express truth much better than a writer’s words.’
Aubert de Villaine

Jon WYAND – Jon first set eyes on Burgundy while on a book assignment in 1979. Twenty years later after seeing the vineyards of Europe as well as South and North America, he chose to specialize and decided Burgundy suited him. Twenty years on and he is still coming, a multiple award winner for his work there and a regular provider to books and magazines such as World of Fine Wine, Wine Spectator, Decanter and Vigneron amongst others.
4 Seasons in the Côte Chalonnaise is his second volume of wine photography following Une Année en Corton published in 2015 and offers a different view on that friendly and beautiful part of the region where humour is never far away.
